Career Day - Immanuel Lutheran St. Charles

I was priviledged to speak at a career day event this morning for 8th grade students. The kids came from area Lutheran schools in both St. Charles County and St. Louis County. I was so very impressed with the many insightful questions they asked and enjoyed my morning.

The presentation included showing samples of my work, both printed portraits and albums and a musical DVD. It's fun showing some of my favorite shots and remembering the emotions from the day.

The best part of being a photographer is building relationships with so many wonderful families. I always feel pride when one of "my" high school seniors shares an accomplishment. I love watching "my" babies grow into toddlers and beyond. This is one thing I shared with these 8th graders today. I want to publically thank each of my studio families. I appreciate and care for each of you. Thank you for bringing me into your family's lives!

I hope some of these young men and women make it to the blog here! If you do, leave me a quick comment.

Thanks again for an enjoyable morning. I'm sure you were just happy to get out of class, but hopefully you had a good time too.
