Pink Clothes, Balloons, Bubbles, a Cake and a Birthday Girl, St. Charles, Missouri

I'm going to attempt to catch up on some shots that never made it to the blog. At the end of the baby plan, we have a fun celebration session. It's the perfect ending to a great year of portraits. We do formal, posed portraits, then move to balloons, cake, buckets and bubbles.

Every time I photograph this adorable little girl, I'm drawn in by how beautiful her eyes are and how sweet her little smile is. "Sweet" is certainly the best word to describe her personality, too.

Here she is:

Career Day - Immanuel Lutheran St. Charles

I was priviledged to speak at a career day event this morning for 8th grade students. The kids came from area Lutheran schools in both St. Charles County and St. Louis County. I was so very impressed with the many insightful questions they asked and enjoyed my morning.

The presentation included showing samples of my work, both printed portraits and albums and a musical DVD. It's fun showing some of my favorite shots and remembering the emotions from the day.

The best part of being a photographer is building relationships with so many wonderful families. I always feel pride when one of "my" high school seniors shares an accomplishment. I love watching "my" babies grow into toddlers and beyond. This is one thing I shared with these 8th graders today. I want to publically thank each of my studio families. I appreciate and care for each of you. Thank you for bringing me into your family's lives!

I hope some of these young men and women make it to the blog here! If you do, leave me a quick comment.

Thanks again for an enjoyable morning. I'm sure you were just happy to get out of class, but hopefully you had a good time too.

He Made Us Laugh! St. Charles Baby Photographer

Some babies smile on cue, some need a little coaxing, and this one loved watching the adults act silly. LOL Yes, he gave us some very cute expressions. Yes, we acted crazy and Yes, we laughed constantly. I just love my job! There's nothing better than watching a baby laugh and have fun.

Enjoy the sneak peek!
