All Smiles!

This was a FUN afternoon! He gave us a run for our money at the 3-month session, and more than made up for it at this 6-month appointment. I just love photographing this age. Babies are so happy once they can sit.

Soon, I'll have this session online in the client gallery... back to working on it. Enjoy the sneak peek.

Brand New!

I've been anticipating this newborn session for quite a while and then, surprise! He came early. I love newborn sessions. The younger the infant the better! He is only 6 days old and already getting squirmy! I like newborns younger than 10 days old because they will still curl up and sleep.

Because he was so young, we were able to get some of my favorite poses (although not all of them!)

I know that there are a number of people eagerly watching for this sneak peek, so I'll get right to the photos! Handsome men, aren't they?

p.s. I had to show the Cardinals pose in color. He's already dreaming of double plays and big runs! Go Cards!

Leave me a note in the comments when you've stopped by.

Daddy's Girl

I had a few dads within the last week! This little girl had a "tough go" at this 3-month appointment. Not quite as easy as her newborn session. Still, I was able to capture some precious moments!

I'm not chatting long... Lots and LOTS of shots to edit this week (and a holiday weekend coming up). Here ya go:

Baby Blue eyes!

I love baby eyes! They are so clear and bright and in this case VERY blue! Beautiful. The last time I photographed her, she was only a couple of days old and kept them mostly closed. I'm thinking she's going to be a Daddy's girl!

These are almost ready for the online client gallery, but until then, I'll give you just 5.

How about those cheeks?

Cute Cousins

I love the feeling I get when I know I've taken the winning photo of the day! I knew immediately after taking it, that the pose with these two 6-month cousins was my IT photo! The girl cousin was so sweet to the boy that we were all giggling and saying "aaahhh". Just look how her hand is on his back!

Of course it wasn't all love and laughs! He had a few unhappy moments. I actually got a VERY cute shot only seconds after this cry outburst.

Anyway, I couldn't wait to share these from Thursday's session. It was almost too much for me with my busy schedule to not work on them!

Let me know what you think!

Beach Bum

I took these earlier this week. He was in quite a good mood. I just love the one where he's falling backwards into his lounge chair. There's nothing better than a good ol' belly laugh! Oh and the first one is from an odd angle, but his personality just shows through.

Enjoy!

Fun Senior - Great location!

Right before we left on vacation, I met with this wonderful senior for her session. We had so much fun (I should show one of the belly laugh photos!) and I easily had too many photos from which to select. Her chosen outdoor location is a private home where the flowers were beautifully in full-bloom. It was just perfect with her coloring and personality.

Oh, and she was a referral from another recent senior, so both girls will receive a free 8x10 or set of wallets (her choice). Thanks for the kind words!

The full gallery is almost ready to share, but until then, here are a couple of my favorites:

Back from Vacation

Hello to everyone. We've made it safely home from our family vacation. I haven't gotten around to our vacation photo now that we're home, but I'll share some in the near future!

We had a wonderful trip to Kentucky, Tennessee and a bit in Georgia and North Carolina.

I'm spending my time right now working on one session from right before we left and getting ready for a number of future appointments. I also have a bit of blog work to catch up on.

Keep checking here regularly. I have quite a bit to share in the next few days.

Now, who turned up the heat? It was beautiful when we left town!
