Birthday Girl

Here are a couple sneak peek photos from my session last night. She's just such a sweet (and quiet) little girl. It took a bit to coax out her cute personality. Join me in wishing Miss "J" a happy 3rd birthday!

A Tribute to Daisy

I have a personal entry to my blog today. It is with a very sad heart that we must say good-bye to Daisy. She took a turn for the worst on Sunday while we were at church. She is no longer able to walk comfortably. Kirk had to carry her outside to go to the bathroom (she can't keep her footing on the slippery tile near the back door). She's not eating much either.

A couple of days ago, Sarah asked me why Daisy looked so sad. It was true. Just one look in her eyes and my heart broke.

I was in my studio getting it ready for a session tonight and the girls and Daisy came wandering in. I quickly snapped this shot. Daisy didn't last long because she can't sit without pain and just stood there for about a minute while I got a few shots. I hope to get a few more with Scott and Rachel when they get home from school.

The vet appointment is for 7:30 tonight. I'm sad already. Think about us.

Description: Floppy hats, oversized jackets, big ties, lace gloves and big candy-heart boxes all in a old-fashioned dress-up type setting.

Dates: Friday, February 2
Saturday, February 3
Saturday, February 10
Monday, February 19 (JUST ADDED -due to requests)

What to Bring: Please dress the little girls in a simple, solid-colored dress in a light color. Please dress the little boys in comfortable pants and a solid colored shirt in a light color.

What the Studio is supplying: I have a variety of hats, shawls, ties, shoes, gloves for the children to select from. If you have something special that you would like to bring, you may do so.

Cost:$85
What is included?: Each Limited Edition session includes a personal session for your child, plus a framed, matted and signed 5x7 portrait in a beautiful metalic finish. You will also receive 10% off additional gift portraits from this session.

I owe another public thank-you to the following people: Anita, Jessica, Gail for the props you see below. And, I missed thanking Ruth in the previous post. I didn't end up using the sleigh she loaned to me, but I want to say thanks for letting me try it!

All the photos from these sessions will be processed to make them soft, glowing and dark so that they remind us of years past. The photos will be printed on a BEAUTIFUL metalic paper. You won't want to miss out on these sessions. Recommended for babies up through age 8. (or older if you have outfits)

Winter Baby

Here's one of my Baby Plan Members. I get to see him every month and watch him grow and change. My Scott loves when they come over (thanks Dad for playing Battleship!) We really enjoy having big sister come to his sessions too.
