Limited Edition - Gone Fishing

August 25-30, 2008 ONLY!!!!

Well, it's about time I get this advertised and promoted. Originally I had planned on running this limited edition set the last part of May through the beginning of June. I actually had a couple of clients come because they signed up earlier in the year as a result of my January note.

I wasn't exactly prepared to run this set until NOW! Anyone ages 9 months through about age 6 is eligible to participate. Girls and Boys!!!!

The cost is $55 and you will receive one 5x7 as part of your fee.

Bring overalls if you have them. I have a couple of smaller sizes if you don't own a pair. Shirts are optional for boys, girls should probably wear a small shirt under the overalls. I have a frayed beach hat and the fishing pole.

Plan for 15 minutes for the session and another 15 minutes to look at your proofs and select your favorite poses.

Call or email soon to reserve your spot! (leave a message if necessary).

The pier will be taken apart and stored after August 28. This set will not be available again for an undetermined time.

Don't miss this!!!

Pretty in Pink

Well, she's pretty in pink AND red-white-and-blue! She's a 4th of July Baby and just celebrated a birthday. I've enjoyed photographing this family since the maternity session. Wow, time flies.

This is the first time I've posted my new hand-painted background. Isn't it just gorgeous? (and perfect with her dress!) It arrived a couple of weeks ago. My new pink chair was perfect too. The truth be told - I actually gave into temptation and purchased the chair earlier in the summer knowing that it would look perfect with this background.

After all the pretty and formal shots were done, we went right for the fun stuff - cake and then a bucket of water. I know I'm going to hear it - but I just HAD to put the mommy shot in here. (I know you won't be too mad - after all I got your preview on the blog!) Ha ha. :)

Well here she is....

I've really enjoyed this past year. I hope you continue to use me as your photographer in the years to come!

Senior Guy - 2009 Grad

Ok, this is my last post for tonight. I'm getting tired!

I got to shoot another session at New Town (I love it there!). This family is actually a referral of another New Town family. We managed to get through the entire session with only a couple of rain drops hitting us. We were all thankful the rain held out until we were done.

It was so much fun with all the instruments and truck/motorcycle. We even got a bonus set of poses in the field with the John Deer plowing in the background!

I'm so glad we met! Thanks for passing on my name to others too.

Here's Ben....

What do you think about the jacked up color in the first one? I thought it was fun!

Thanks again for looking!

1 year old GRADUATE

Meet one of my many recent BABY graduates. He's been coming to the studio since he was 3 months old. We sure had a lot of fun at this session! He was very excited to interact with us and extremely BUSY. Walking is his favorite thing! I just love the water/bucket shots. I think that was his favorite part.

Thanks for allowing me to photograph him this past year!

Newborn Boy

I've had such an enjoyable time with photographing newborn boys lately. It's almost becoming a joke with a couple other photographer friends. Newborn GIRLS are a rarity in the studio lately. What's up with the pregnancy water? Anyone preg. with a baby girl? GIVE ME A CALL! :)

Ok, all joking aside, I do want to share some of my favorites from this session. He was such a sweet baby (and big brother was pretty cute too). Wonderful family referred by a current client. I love knowing that so many people are passing out those referral cards!

So, here he is...

Thanks for looking! Comments welcome.

New Town Senior Session

Ahhhhh! It feels great to get back into the senior sessions. What a nice change of pace from babies in the studio. Not to mention that I got to shoot at my favorite location in town.

We had a great time on this session. It was a nice cool summer day (cool and summer don't usually go together here in St. Louis!), the rain and flooding stayed away and she was a BEAUTIFUL subject.

Thanks for allowing me to photograph your family again!

Enjoy these and view the full session in the client gallery.

9 Months - Adorable blue eyes

Aren't her eyes just the brightest, prettiest eyes you've seen?

We had such a fun time at this session. She was so happy and we had a really great time. We played peek-a-boo over the horse and pink chair.

Oh, the PINK chair. I've been so deliquent on my blog that I forgot to announce that I got a new prop! Isn't it just perfect? It was totally an impulse buy, but very worth it!

I was happy to capture a couple of images where her new teeth were visible.

Below are a couple of images. I loaded the entire gallery this morning.

Thanks for reading! Leave me a note in the comments and let me know you were here (anyone is welcome to comment.)

Newborn!

I've had my share of newborn (boys) lately. I had the opportunity to photograph this family's maternity session and the newborn. I wish we had an entire year (or more) together, but sadly, they moved out of state. I'm glad I met them when I did and was able to capture some amazing family shots.

Blessings in your call and in your new home! It was a pleasure working with you.

Loving these newborn photo sessions!

Back to blogging

Wow, this feels strange. I haven't logged into the blog in such a long time. My apologies. I had a computer system crash at the end of May and it's been a struggle getting my rhythm back. Thankfully I didn't have much data loss (only a couple of fonts and some personal documents).

The old computer is still dead if anyone feels like they have time to come and get the new hard-drive installed. (hint, hint)

I'm also spending my evenings making a dress for Sarah to wear in my sister's wedding next month. I'll share snaps of that when I get the skirt assembled and attached.

It is my plan to upload a couple of posts per day to catch up. I'll try and get some sneak peeks back in here too.

Thanks for reading!
