Little Sweetie

I have a couple of images that I've been slow to share. I'll get some of them up in the next few days. This first session was a couple of weeks ago so this isn't a sneak preview. Still, I thought my blog-audience would enjoy seeing what I've been up to.

This adorable little girl was such fun. We laughed throughout the entire session! She was smiling and responding and having a great time. I absolutely love photographing babies once they know how to sit (and before they start crawling!) They are usually so happy and fun to capture through the camera lens. I know Mom and Grandma and Aunt had a good time too. They laughed with us too.

Enjoy!

High School Senior Time again

We were God-blessed for this Senior session! For weeks leading up to our appointment, the weather was extremely cold. Then, on the day of her portraits, the sun came out and warmed St. Charles to a beautiful day in the mid-forties. The next day it started raining and we've had snow ever since.

For those '07 grads who still need portraits done - give me a call and let's have some fun! I love little kids, but I must say, that teens are terrific.

So, enjoy!

Another Snow Day!!

Well, we woke up this morning to rain and clear roads. I got the kids up and started getting them ready for school. Although I've been in Missouri since 1994, I still find it difficult to shake my Michigan upbringing. I had NO idea that school would be called off. Ummm hello! There's no snow. Well, by chance I happened to go onto the website of the local NBC station and to my amazement, all the area schools were closed today.

By 8am, the rain had switched to little frozen pellets and by 8:30am the snow was coming down in HUGE flakes. It didn't take long to build up. When I went out at 4pm to shovel the driveway, it was 8-10" in some places. It's pretty windy here today. Some areas it was less than 5". Amazing.

Well, I didn't get much work done in my office today, but I did get to play out in the snow and snap a few photos as well. Our indoor time was spent working on Valentines for classmates and watching a Harry Potter marathon (started on Monday). The kids love those books/movies.

So, here's the white stuff! Leave a comment when you visit here!

18 Months Old and FUN!!

I've had a busy day, but was able to get a bit of photo editing done this evening.

I wanted to get a little sneek peek posted of this 18-month old fireball. She was a lot of fun. Six months ago at her 1-year appointment, it was all we could do to keep her in front of us for photos. This time she was very happy with our little chairs and props. Mom brought these colored flowers. Aren't they perfect? The photos in the rocking chair were a little challenging because she decided to rock herself off the mat. We laughed the entire time!

Well, before we get to the photos, I just wanted to remind everyone to sign up for one of the two remaining Limited Edition Sessions. WOW, you will absolutely LOVE, LOVE your portraits. Tell your friends and send them here to the blog or to my site.

Alright - here she is! Isn't she adorable? Oh and please give me feedback on the old-fashioned porcelain type photo. I thought the pose just called for the white out effect.
