Ahhh, Sometimes I'm reminded just how quickly the years fly by when a little girl (age 5) is now a high school senior and I'm taking her pictures! Courtney has grown into a beautiful young woman and I'm so proud to be a part of her senior year. It brings tears to my eyes and is so special that I was asked to photograph her! Thank you SO VERY much.

Well, I'm not good with the mushy stuff, so I'll share what we did and then share the photos!

We started out in my studio and then spent the afternoon on Main Street in St. Charles. It was such a gorgeous day for outdoor images! I used a fun, wide-angle lens for her car shots. Don't you just love, love, love the yellow? :)

Brand New Baby Girl {St. Charles, Newborn Photographer}

Isn't it just the best thing to see a curled up squishy newborn baby? I had the honor to photograph this little one. She wasn't exactly new, but since she was born a little early, she was still sleepy and curled up just perfectly! The baby and mom were both in our prayers and I was thrilled when I actually got to meet them and capture her sweetness.

All One Year Olds {1st Birthday Photographer, St. Charles}

One year old sessions are jam-packed with fun stuff to do... books, cake, balloons, buckets, bubbles, towels and running around! It seems these babies are growing like weeds and these little ones have recently celebrated by turning ONE!

Phew!! Can you tell it's been busy here?

Still working on catching up the blog. I've been busy photographing other seniors and need to get this one on here!

I really enjoyed Jess's session. She has a great smile and a love for life and those around her. It really shows through in her personality. She also has great taste in shoes so we HAD to show them off in at least one shot!

We did some of the images in the studio and the rest in New Town. Amazingly, we had a beautiful day and a break from cold/rain! Such a blessing. :)

9 Months - We're standing! {Baby Photographer, St. Charles}

In the Baby Steps, 1st year Portrait Plan, the 9 month session is optional, but it's definitely one of my favorite sessions. Usually the baby is standing while leaning or holding onto something and 99.9% of them are not yet walking. They giggle,laugh and love to be silly!

I got the BEST belly laughs and smiles out of this little girl. She was active, and in the perfect mood!

Bet you can't help but smile when you see these. (LOL)

I've had a number of 6 month old babies recently. It's probably a good idea to post them all together.

This is such a FUN, FUN age. Once a baby can sit, the world completely changes. I love the smiles, I love the proud stances. This age is perfect for putting the baby into baskets, bowls and buckets.
