Rachel Dance Photos 2009

Hello Blog readers! Here are the photos I promised of Rachel's dance costume. Rachel was much less excited to be in front of the camera than Sarah was so I had to make the most of my minutes with her. Rachel took Ballet, Tap and Jazz this year. Her B/T class performed a tap number and this is the costume from that song. Her Jazz group was very small and did not perform in the recital. We had the option to come up another night to rehearse with a different jazz class, but it didn't work out with our schedules.

The performance was great! They used black/white canes as their props and really showed off what they learned. Miss Donna's classes are always so together and polished. Rachel really enjoyed studying with her these past two years.

Rachel's hair is pulled back into a bun and she has that headband on. Underneath all that, she has quite a lot of hair. The next personal post I put here on the blog (in a week or so) will be her before/after photos from a couple of days ago. She got her hair cut and did a Locks of Love donation!

Children 9 Months through age 4 may use our Baseball Uniforms (Jerseys and pants or skirt) or you may bring your own.

Can't make the set days of July 15-18??? Get a group of 5 together and we'll pick a new date that suits both of our calendars.

Courtney & Jake, Wedding in St. Louis, MO

I had the honor of photographing Courtney and Jake's wedding at Historic Trinity Lutheran Church in Soulard. (St. Louis, MO). While I pride myself as being a children's photographer, I do enjoy photographing other events for a change of pace. The wedding day was beautiful, the location amazing and the bride was stunning! I could not have asked for a better day.

I usually only share a couple of images from my sessions but since this is a special occasion (and it will be a little while before I have the rest of the images proofed), I went a bit crazy picking a few to share on the blog.

The entire bridal party was great to work with - I sort of feel like part of the family. LOL. :) I've loaded these images onto Facebook too, so you can all go ahead and tag yourselves in these images. There's no way I'll remember everyone's names.

I want to say Thank You to my hubby for partnering up and photographing with me at the wedding and reception. You were a great help. I love you!

Sarah's Dance Photos 2009

This was dance recital weekend for my girls. Sarah and I did her photo session on Thursday afternoon. Oh my! She was so much fun. I was done photographing her WAYYY before she was done posing. We really had a lot of fun. Almost all these poses were her own idea too! My only job was to make sure she was in good light. LOL

I had to add a couple of "fun" images too. She was just crazy.

Sarah's performances are tap (She is dancing to the Chattanooga Choo Choo again!), Hip Hop (Yellow outfit) and Wee Rockettes (again/still). She may have one more year as a Rockette.

Family sessions in the studio work for groups 5-6 and smaller. I just loved the colors here - they coordinated perfectly! I especially loved the image with the girls and Mom! I had a hard time selecting the dad/son image for the blog. I ended up picking the fun one.

3 Month Doll -St. Charles, MO

This little sweetheart sure has a knack for flirting with the camera (or was she flirting with me??) I can't decide if she looks better in pink or in purple. Her flower blanket pose is one of my all-time flower portraits! She's another of my fun-hair girls. LOL Watch for her 6-month Baby Plan session soon.

And on another note: I still need toddler models (see the post below).
