Thursday night of last week, he let Kirk pull that top tooth too. So notice the terrific 1st grade smile! Now, here's a great story for you! Pull up your chairs and get ready to giggle. It's a cute one.
Scott didn't want to put his tooth under his pillow last Thursday night. You see, his bottom teeth had already come in, but only ONE of the baby teeth had come out. The other bottom center one was pretty stubborn and wasn't being pushed out by the new tooth because it was way behind where it should have come in. Scott REALLY wanted to put TWO teeth under his pillow at the same time. He had been told about the "two teeth bonus" that the Tooth Fairy sometimes gave.
So, Thursday night, a week ago, he put his tooth in a baggie and put it in his sock drawer. Friday came and went and he still couldn't wiggle that bottom tooth out. Saturday was busy, but he did work on it some. In the evening we had a babysitter. WELL... Scott with all his charm, convinced the babysitter that he was allowed to stay up late so that he could wiggle his tooth. She gave him a couple of minutes thinking that he'd give up. It didn't take long and he had pulled it on his own.
By the time we arrived home, both teeth were in the baggie and under his pillow, awaiting the Tooth-Fairy Bonus (which was $3.00 rather than just $1.00)
So, enjoy these photos of the NEW Scott! He says he looks like his friend Zach! What do you think Zach? How does Scottie look?
