A New "Do"

Well it was an interesting day! I convinced Sarah to let me trim her hair. I got the cape put on her and asked her how much she wanted me to cut. She indicated that she wanted it at her jaw-line. In shock, I asked her again and warned her that she wouldn't be able to have a pony-tail if it were that short. So, we agreed that just below the shoulder would be "nice".

About 8-inches later, this is Sarah's new look! She decided a couple of weeks ago that she wanted to grow her bangs to be like Rachel. I trimmed those, but just barely. It's amazing how different she looks. The first thing we did was run into the studio and fill my memory card with new hair portraits.

Angie found the old step ladder for me at a flee-market/tea room. I asked her two weeks ago to keep her eyes open because I had been looking for many months already. She actually found two for me in just a matter of days. Thanks a bunch, Angie! This is the first time I've used it for photos. It looks terrific with the red background. (Oh and if you want a better look at any of the photos, you can click on them and get them full-sized)

Rachel's off at a sleep-over birthday partytonight. HER haircut is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. I hope she gets some sleep tonight. It won't be much fun if she's a grouch. Rachel's photo session may need to be delayed by a day or two for when she's fully awake.

I've received many email responses already today. It's great to hear from so many friends/family. I hope you are enjoying the blog and the photos! It's been fun for me too!

Until next time!
